Joy Boulamwin is a "poet of code on a mission to show compassion through computation". She founded the algorithmic justice league, to spread awareness on impacts of AI. Part of the awareness is her discovery on the gender and racial discrepancies in AI. She discovered these discrepancies in large companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM. She also serves on the Global Tech Panel.
